My Little Bundle of Joy

What a way to start out 2009 – I gave birth to my little angel, Ollie. The 2.5 days of labor and 9 months discomfort was forgiven when the nurse laid him on me and I saw his precious little face. Ollie had his eyes shut tight and his mouth wide open screaming his little heart out. I knew instantly that he was my little boy because he definitely wanted everyone to hear that he has arrived.

Ollie was just a mere 7.1 oz and 19 inches at birth. Yet, when I looked at him, I can’t believe little ol’ me delivered that child. He really had to bee squeezed out of me. It took 2.5 hours for me to deliver him that hs poor head ended up being shaped into a cone.  He had a little bit of hair on his cone head. Hopefully, he’ll grow up with beautiful locks to match his handsome face. I was smitten by Ollie. It was love at first sight.

I can’t wait to be gifted with the opportunity to shape his values and to build his foundation. I hope to be a wonderful mother to him because he’s my little baby.
